PO Losing a couple of secs every hour or so
Discussion
Whilst being worn I have reset the time a few times today(well over the past few days)
after an hr or so it is continually losing a couple of secs after a number of hours amounting to 20-30
What is the collectives thought on this? Return to AD for a check up?
it is less than a month old.
Thanks Tony

I will go back to the AD in the morning and ask for them to get it calibrated
should I take the box etc it came in?
sorry for the dumb A** question but I do not want them to then send it off in a jiffy bag if it would be safer with all the original packaging.
I just reset the watch again at 20:41:00
I'll see how many secs it loses tonight and by the morning.
As I have a radio Time clock in front of my office desk the time loss is noticeable.

I'd be worried there's something more seriously wrong with the movement. I'd be amazed if the QC at Omega would have let a watch that far out of spec slip through the net.
I'd be pushing to get the watch replaced as it's not fit for purpose, or ask for a refund if they won't agree to this and you're still within 30 days of purchase.
If it was me, I'd be concerned this is a Friday afternoon watch, and that it'll be going back and forward to Omega, (taking 4+ weeks every time)...
Sorry to be so pessimistic...

When I bought my SM pro it was a very similar story, it went back to Omega under warranty and ran like a dream for the next 5-6 years, then a service and repeat. Oh and if you send it back to Omega without the box (they don't want the box) they return it in a service case which then always comes in handy

In fairness you would notice if it was your everyday watch as the seconds add up and you'd be a couple of minutes out every week or so, at that point it becomes bloody obvious. However sitting at home all weekend and ringing up the speaking clock every hour on the hour to monitor it, is borderline wierd..........besides you deserve the s

I was thinking I'd set them, then check 24 hours later...Meh.
Thanks I will check
it has the Red dot there currently.
The AD tried to say the watch needed 3months to settle in.
The look on my face meant I needed to say very little
they then commenced writing out the the returns form.
Can anyone confirm the correct Dot colour I should check for upon return?
