what mods would ya do to a car with a grand?
Discussion
Depend upon the motor, but generally, better tyres, better brakes (probably just limited to pads/discs given the budget) and then maybe look at suspension upgrades. Maybe have a look at upping the power, but it would depend upon the engine as to whether you could get much for a few hundred quid.

yep 1) Sell car
2) Buy car that's 1000 pounds worth of better
That's my vote. Mind you, most older cars need money spending on them to make them right, even the car worth £1000 more
so I'd probably just do what the car needs doing to it. For example, if it's done over 60-70k miles new springs and dampers, tyres and a four wheel alignment will transform it. That's possible for under a grand on most cars (my E36 325i that I used to have was £800 for all of the above, although my 328i just cost £2,100 for the same thing
Drives nicely now though!)Gassing Station | General Gassing [Archive] | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
