insurance forum and sticky wikki
Discussion
Today we have a new guy come in who's asking questions which have gone around and around for months (years?)

Poor lad is in the industry so it's tricky explaining what's what
Could we have an insurance forum to move all insurance related posts?

or all three
Trouble with insurance is that you have a number of people posting the industry position and a few more showing what theyve had to do to work around that, or how theyve ended up due to that position.
All posts are useful but it can turn into a shouting match.

I'll have a fiddle with FiF's attempt and see how we go.

I think the FAQ should contain what is believed to be the definitive position and locked
If any part of that position is to be discussed, it can be done so in a separate thread and if at the end of that discussion the FAQ should be changed it can.
If the discussion doesn't reach an end it may be useful to add a 'brief' note of the varying opinion for future reference and discussion - after all that's what a forum is for
That seems like the most straightforward way to go.If any part of that position is to be discussed, it can be done so in a separate thread and if at the end of that discussion the FAQ should be changed it can.
