Well,

Still haven't got full time work following on from the accident.
I've had a few interviews with no luck- mostly through being out of work for a while not looking good on the CV.

So, 2 very dear friends of mine working in Dubai have found me a job working with them.

The timings not ideal. I fly on Tuesday.
I miss the family Christmas. This weekend will be fairly emotional- it's the last one with my son for the forseeable future.
That's going to cut. Deeply. But, I guess I'm used to cuts, burns and catastrophe, so what's the worst that can happen?

So, for now folks, it's time to say a fond farewell to life in the uk, and on to pastures new, and see where it leads me.

I shall still be posting- sorry about that- but just to say a huge thanks for EVERYTHING this wonderful place has done for me.

Further adventures (mishaps) will continue from the warm side of the planet!!!!

Be in touch soon,

All the very best to you and yours for a happy Christmas, and a prosperous, safe, happy and humerous 2011.

I think some should alert the embassy given your past history of mishaps.

Good luck with it emsman.

Good and bad news.
Isn't Dubai hot and as such a bit burny?

At least it's a job.

Was it only last year the Toylander saga?

That means you won't be at Grove Lock then. Good luck for the future - and be careful!

Best of luck mate - really hope it works out for you.

On a side note, could you drop me a PM with your flight details? I'm due a trip out there soon and... well I'd like to keep risks to a minimum. wink

Good luck out there. A shame we never got to that shooting. I hope that all goes well and you do manage to see your son as much as you can.

Mrs emsman will be staying here, shan't see jnr for a long time- truthfully by far the hardest part for me.

Hoping to be able to afford to fly him out with mrs ems at half term.

Start of a big adventure, but not looking forward to saying goodbye to him on Sunday- I'm filling up (like a big girls blouse) thinking about it.

Gheyer etc!!
