As promised some pics of me going through Tough Mudder there should be a little video once my friend has finished editing it
The hopeful team

Having a trim before I start

First obstacle a nice ice bath

After the first couple of obstacles

Second to last with a failed attempt and an action shot

Last obstacle with finishing/finished shots

And some bruising from where I was helping people over the hero wall I have a very similar one close to a delicate area

And finally me as a terror suspect

And just for those who think the last obstacle looks easy!

Good effort - looks pretty grueling. If I tried to do that I would fail at the ice bath stage..

It was pretty gruelling up until the group split as the other two people are both distance runners so they really put me and Steve (bloke on the podium with me) through our paces for the first 7 miles until Steve cramped up bad enough that he couldnt move either leg so the other two went on ahead while I walked the rest as support for Steve after that it was fairly easy for me as I have done a fair bit of hiking.

I think I will do it again next year but will actually do some training rather than just turn up and give it a go

Great pics, and well done! That bruise does looka bit sore though. How long did it take you to complete it?

It was a crap time due to having to walk half the course 4hrs 30min the two runners who split from us when Steve started to cramp did it in 3hrs, when I next do it I would like to hit 3hrs myself, I dont think I will ever get to go to worlds toughest mudder though as times to be eligble for that are less than 2hrs for the entire course
