Hello

Just a few photos of my newly purchased M3 CS that I have now had detailed by All That Gleams, based in Surrey. I will be bringing it along to Sunday Service at Mercedes-Benz World this weekend. Let's hope for some kind weather!!!

Looks fantastic. Congratulations. I do like Interlagos Blue. I'm also a bit of a fan of the alcantara and leather seats, but don't tell anyone! wink

Cheers, I was unsure at first when looking at the car on PistonHeads Classifieds, but once seen in the flesh I thought they looked wicked! Really comfortable, holds you in place well and best of all they are just a little different from the norm!

Beautiful car Interlagos Blue is one of my fantastic colours for the M3, along with Imola Red and Laguna Seca Blue.

What is a M3 CS?
Is it short for CSL or inbetween a normal E46 M3 and a CSL.

CS is almost the same spec as a standard M3, but comes with the quicker CSL steering rack, bigger brakes and no doubt more stuff, but does not come with with the weight saving that a CSL has compared to standard M3.

Unlike the CSL, the CS is available as a manual too.

@ OP: That's well tasty.

Cheers guys for the comments. Interesting seeing your opinions on the seats, it seems they are like marmite. You either love them or hate them. Fortunately for me, I love them!

If anyone is coming to Sunday Service you can see it and the seats in the flesh!!

Yeah, I was waiting for someone to comment on the badge. That wasn't me, it was the previous owner!!! It shall be 'adjusted' in time

absolutely awesome. I would have bought a CS if they were cheaper when I bought my M3.

Interlargos blue is the best colour for an E46 M3 imho.

As for your interior, at least it's better than "breezeblock grey" leather that you often get with IB paint colour.

Perfect combo and very rare. I wanted one exactly like this but could only find all leather. IMHO the alacantara will age better than the leather and gives its a much sportier look.

Cheers for the comments.

The mileage is just under 38000 and it has been fully inspected by the local main dealer last week giving it the thumbs up. I looked at many M3's over the last few months before deciding on this one.

For the poster who is currently looking for a CS I can recommend another one for sale on PistonHeads currently. It is full leather inside with 31000 miles on the clock. It is based in Surrey, I've seen it and carried out full HPI on it. All good. The main reason I didn't go for that was because I preferred the interior of mine!

On that note, here are two more photos of mine, this time outside! biggrin

TBH, a lot of Bimmers are reaaallly dull inside, so I'm loving that you've not gone for the boring 'black-car-black-leather' combo. thumbup

Thank You! This was the only one I saw that was with this interior. And believe me, I looked at M3's with every other combination of leathers inside, including the 'Individual' colours!!
