Finally managed to get most of my interior upgrades fitted yesterday...

I'm really pleased with the result smile it's really lifted the interior and actually looks even better than these pictures suggest.
Encountered a slight problem with the door bars but these will be done too as soon as that is resolved.

Here's the disclaimer bit...
I have no connection with either of the following but I would definitely recoomend them for their quality work!
Tony Hall - for his shiny knobs and sills plaques smile
Izzy Jones at Nexon Motors for the lovely Carbon Fibre and custom designed steering wheel smile

I really like that. I think that's more how the V8V should have looked when originally released!

Loving the wheel - very keen on that, though I wouldn"t want the carbon, more the flattened bottom and extra slulpting at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Have you got carbon outside, splitter/diffeser etc?

Yes, splitter and diffuser. Still undecided on the side strakes though.

Get them wrapped cheaply to see what you think. Then you can plump for the real ones. I think the declaration of 'carbon edition' makes it inevitable smile

Is the gear stick the DBS one? Or a great looking replica? Really suits the vantage.
I wanna somehow get the whole ski slope in piano black on the same stereo as in these pics. Maybe some sort of piano black overlay fascia?

Good idea...
But as I suspect you're right, I may move the side strakes up the list of future upgrades! smile

Like it, the gear knob looks good. I am also in the process off upgrades. Fitting carbon outside, N400 sills, paint correction and then protection for the paint. I still have to finish off Tony's knobseek
The carbon strakes do look good and you could justify it for the weight savingsmile the originals are heavy!

It's the DBS one, but is also fitted to the V12 Vantage don't forget!

I've got one for sale if anyone wants it. Replaced with Sarah Maynard's nicer one smile

Doesn't carbon fibre make the steering wheel slippy? Plus it will be really cold!

Not a fan of it personally, far prefer the standard parts.

You can find the gear knobs for sale on eBay at times. Aston Martin Bits also have them for sale (as does Yeti!) smile
It was fitted for me by this brilliant chap in Derby called Rick... Free of charge at service time I should add!! Sadly DMS are no longer with us.

I believe it's a simple job to swap them over or a dealer could probably do it for you while you waited.

very nice smile

what about the door pulls ? dont they come in carbon too? they are the worst worn bit of my 6 year old interior - lots of tiny chips from the seat belt..

Yes, I had those done too but encountered a problem in fitting them. Hopefully, that will be resolved soon!

Not nearly as cold as the metal gear lever. I leave a glove in the car in winter just for the stick.

Have the opposite problem here in Melbourne. The metal gear lever on the Esprit gets so hot that you can get a second degree burn. Use a small cloth to change gears until it cools off.

Love the wheel with the flat bottom, reminds me of my old rs4 and TTRS. would prefer all in leather though, maybe alcantara.
