You could try http://www.pksupercars.com/ I’ve used them for the last four years to service the Fezza, last time I was down there I mentioned that at some point I hoped to be adding to the stable with a Vantage and wondered if they would be able to service it, they said it wouldn't be a problem as they already look after a few for existing customers. I did ask for a rough price guide for an annual service and was pleasantly surprised.

Yes here we are again. It seems that unless you complain they hit you with a whopper of a service cost. Oh and for the guy who asked- my ad states the car clearly-a DB9.

Thx to all who've helped. Still hoping there might be an indie in the West who's recommended.

If anyone's interested the Edinburgh dealer wanted £950. I refused based on prices offered elsewhere . Yes he came down a bit but certainly not enough

Disappointed, but on this occasion i will use a recommended indie

Authorised dealers IMHO really have to learn to be more competitive. Times have changed right?

I certainly won't use an AD........ Mine was quite put out when he rang to tell me the car was due a service, and I told him it'd already been done...

Then he asked if I was likely to return next year, he was shocked when I said no, or the year after that..... YOU'RE JUST TO EXPENSIVE....

They need tellingyes

Pksupercars did the service in the end. Phil is a lovely guy and the garage was wall to,wall, ferraris and maseratis. His wife does the admin and her communications are superb. Constant feedback, most helpful

The pads needed replaced- I knew that- and again they THRASHED the aston main dealer price

All in all very very happy with my service at a fraction of the price of the local dealer. And yes they used all the correct oils etc

Ps I have no affiliation with this company. Never even heard of them till someone kingly mentioned them on this thread

RECOMMENDED!

Excellent result Ell - I think having a 2nd choice, other than the AD, is essential !!

You must realise that upon acquiring Independence, your car will thereafter be regarded as an import biggrin

I've been called worse, matey biggrin

Indeed there are customers I have in the depths of Wales who only deal with me because I am Scottish, so I can appreciate the dichotomy that co-exists - and will no doubt be exposed - in modern, developed countries yes

Did I mention that I've received three calls from the AM dealer re the service AND a letter in the post. This despite me informing my contact there that I wont be going with them. I guess reps don't talk to admin eh?

I forked out £1k for my last service there ( they were up at £1300 Before negotiation )then took the car to BR for modifications and they found the dampers were knackered and could not understand how this had not been picked up . they are good at phoning you every 5 minutes when a service is due but that,s about it. The year before I drove to Rick in Derby for a service . I 'll give these guys a try .
