Loose wire?

While topping up my barke fluid I found a wire dangling down, can anyone shed any light as to what it is, everything appears fine with the car?

What does that do? The ECU appears to be working fine so could it be?

As Whitey said, likely the ECU plug.

If so its a three pin plug

Sag & late T350 colours:-
Pin 3 Loom Black/white
Pin 2 Loom White/red
Pin 1 Loom White/green

It's for the dealer servicing diagnostic connection, so just tuck it out of the way.


Oh! Check your brake fluid reservoir cap, I think it's cross threaded

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, i have found the same on my Tuscan whilst looking for the diagnostic connector. This one (when pic is enlarged) and mine only has 2 wire and 2 contacts. I was under the impression the diag connector was 3, i have not found a 3 pin connector so if someone could shed some light that would be great.
