Hello.

We all know that these cars are the same under the different badges but from an cosmetic point of view, which do you prefer?! Feel free to discuss these cars in more detail if you wish.

Seat Mii

Skoda Citigo

VW Up!

I have provided pictures incase you forgot what they looked like, and I think I am leaning towards the Skoda. It looks quite smart. smile

Which ever one the cheap leasing deal is on today, is probably the most common answer.

Seen them for £50 a month!

I agree the up has that certain something. I think its that white inset bit on the bumper, makes it look like an Ipod, will go well with someones ipod.

I like the Citigo most, then the Up! Not a fan of the Mii at all. Driven a Citigo too - utterly fantastic little cars and a great ownership proposition. If I wasn't scared of being stuck with a car for 2/3+ years I'd be sorely tempted.

I like the look of the Skoda, but the SEAT is nice in that it looks like a spiritual successor to the Arosa.

EDIT: fking hell, just been looking on the Skoda website and the Citigo is £75 per month on 3-year finance.

The Skoda looks the best IMO. The SEAT looks horribly basic and the VW is trying too hard and looks like a grinning idiot.

Agreed. I think the Skoda is the smartest and I think the Mii/Up are a great successor to the Arosa/Lupo. Much better effort than the Fox.

Talking about lease deals - I have seen a Mii for £55.00 per month. I could live with the cheap(er) looks at that price. Very tempted. The Citigo is around £75.00 and Up = £79.00.

I pay £75 a month for my Picanto on 3 year finance so it's not overly surprising, although they must think these have good residuals because they're a couple of grand more to start with...

Skoda and Up both look great IMO.

The SEAT one looks bland however.

Quick question. Does the Brake-Assist come as standard on all Seat Mii's?

I currently have a Polo but I'm definitely interested in chopping it in for one of these now...

To me if you're going to buy a car like this, you might as well just go for whichever offers the cheapest deal. If I had to choose it would be the Skoda, the VW can easily get expensive which defeats the object of these cars.

One of the £55 leases can't be a bad way into cheap motoring providing there isn't a huge downpayment....

It was from a site called freedom contracts. I started looking at the C1, but prefer the overall package that this VAG trio offers. It has a £500 deposit and I have heard that there is no balloon/final payment on those websites. Is that true? Just an inspection at the end for damage. Sorry, this is all new to me and not something I have thought about before until tonight.

I do like the idea of an easier budgeting as I am on a low wage. I can afford these type of deals and provides a reliable mode of transport when/if I need to see clients. thumbup

There's possibly an option to purchase but apart from that it is just contract hire yes, you hand it back at the end and providing you haven't damaged it beyond fair wear and tear, it goes back without a hitch.

I'm thinking about leasing an SLK...

Very tempted now. It would hopefully be a good base for a couple of years while I build some NCB. scratchchin
