Greyhound Girl missing in Croy near Cumbernauld
Discussion
Summer, a timid black greyhound girl, got badly spooked and slipped her collar and bolted last night in this area.
The owner has informed the dog warden and the police and as many people as she knows so they can look out for her.
If you or anyone you know in that area spots / finds her please phone the owner (Elaine) on her mobile - 07988102550.
Summer has just recently been spayed so it is vital she can be found as soon as possible.
Here's hoping she turns up safe and soon.
Thanks for reading.
Cheers,
Eric

I can't believe i saw the greyhound on the road between Slamannan and Greengairs this morning at 09.15. I got out the van and tried to get her to come to me, but she is very timid. After 30 mins of jogging and my wife driving the van the dog went down Fannyside road. It went up towards Blackhill then dived into the fields and went in the direction of the woods behind Rashiehill.
She is a black greyhound with a white part on her chest. No coller obviously as she slipped her lead. Keep a look out if you are around Slamannan or on the road that runs from Fannyside Road to the B803 just North of Slamannan.
I didn't have Elaine number, so thanks to Flipflop who i phoned and went on to ph to get her number. Unfortunately i couldn't get a signal from where i was and didn't talk to her until about 10 mins after i lost sight of the doggie. She has still not been found yet.

Your welcome Eric, i just couldn't believe that i posted up on Saturday night to keep a look out and then on Sunday morning i see her. I didn't bother taking down the number as i wasn't going anywhere near Cumbernauld. If she hadn't been so timid then she would have had a nice spin in my van back to her owner.
