What kind of Jellyfish is this?

I encountered this wee beastie whilst snorkeling off the south coast of the Isle of Wight last weekend. Googling isn't helping with identifying what type of Jellyfish it is so I'm sure the PH massive can help It was about 8-10" in diameter and the tentacles about 20" long. Seemed to prefer to swim near the surface

Anyone know what type it is?

Didn't realise it was poisonous though! My snorkeling buddy swam right into it but luckily didn't get stung!
