Clutch slave again, anyone replaced for a Tilton ?
Discussion
My RP clutch-salve is leaking again. Anyone modified the bell housing for a Tilton ?

Just go with the RaceProved slave. Superbly made and turns the slave into a fit and forget item as it should be. Many of us have upgraded to this slave and not had any troubles since.

I've certainly heard of a few people having problems even with the RP slave on here. I have one with less than 10k on it (fitted by RP) and at the service last week I have had an advisory that it shows signs of weeping. Hoping it is not going to need replacing again, but the signs aren't good. This is the thread that you need.

The only difference from the pics on page 2 of the thread are that on the Speed 6, the cutout in the bellhousing for the starter is on the opposite side. But there is still room behind this for a 4 cm hole for the hoses supplying the new slave. Cost £80 for an engineering shop to cut the holes. Tilton slave was expensive but should be worth it in the long-term. Clutch action was very stiff to start but seems to ease up a bit with time.
Now everything needs to be dismantled again to deal with leaking front crankshaft seal!
