Good luck with the sale. At that price most buyers will want to spec their own car down to the last detail. Unless this car meets one of these buyers requirement almost exactly it will be a tough sale.

Had a good look at one in Wilmslow the other day,lovely thing but in no way shape or form did it make me want to swap the DBS for it.

Forgive me had expected the new vanquish to prove rather more depreciation resistant.....300 miles ...22k gbp down...

Such a choice vehicle but market still perceives as overpriced

I have to say I think it's as much as can be expected (the advertised second hand price) and in reality will need to be nearer 10k lower to sell

The asking price is close to the base list price without extras. As another poster says, to entice someone to buy a car they haven't specced themselves, let alone one which however low the miles, is s/hand, that is the msot they can ask

My understanding is that since the intial flurry of orders, interest has been satisfied and now died down, meaning I bet you can now/soon buy dealer stocked cars with the 'normal' aston discount

as you hint at, problem as is well documented on here, is unrealistic asking prices to start with

I wouldn't say cheap, maybe generic is a better word? I am really starting to like the Vanquish exterior as time goes by, but in this ad, the passenger door card looked simply like a molded blob as you'd see on any other mass produced car.

It has no apparent interesting detail as compared to the current models. Take a look at the door on your DB9...lots of interesting details, in particular the totally separate door grab with its exposed bolts. The inset panel in the door, the separate armrest pad, etc. etc. It looks bespoke, not like any other car, but the Vanquish? It may be all beautiful leather, but it is wholly underwhelming in design.

sorry, does appear ridiculous, its just my thoughts, recently drove a nearly new db9 and i was very underwhelmed with the interior, although its hard to pinpoint why. the materials were nice, I just had a very cheap feeling from the switches, buttons, steering wheel levers etc. I sense the same feeling when looking at photos of the new vanquish interior. its only my thoughts, im not saying its crap. but its below my standard of what to expect in a £100,000 car, let alone what one of these (stunning) things costs.

Isn't it funny how different people perceive things. From the first time I sat in an Aston I have always thought what a special place it is to be - and still do. Your views never crossed my mind. Still it takes all sorts - you must drive some very special cars to be underwhelmed by the interior of an Aston

Never sit in a Lamborghini Gallardo then! I've never been as underwhelmed by an interior as much as that.

I looked at a Gallardo Spyder before the S and the interior is virtually a lift from an Audi

Sat in an RS4 and a Gallardo, identical interior. You'd think in a gallardo costing 100k+ new they'd use a different interior. I wonder if the R8 has the same interior as an A4
