Where can I get MG Midget Hardtop or Soft top

Hi all,
I have just started driving an MG Midget for my first car. However the roof is a bit rubbish; its got a couple of leaks and the leather has shrunk a bit. So now with the weather getting worse, I was wondering if there was any where i can get a new roof to replace the one i have got at the mo.

you're certainly under no obligation to do so but it would be polite and good manners to report back on the threads you start with the result or outcome as this could help others learn and the posters to your thread know if they're giving the correct answers
also if you put a photo up of your car in your Profile and a few detail;s like it's year and engine this could help as the Midget did change over the years quite a lot whilst looking almost the same
if you use a hardtop it does mean you'll miss out on many top down opportunities, a reasonable soft top reasonably fitted (doesn't even need to be good) should keep out the wet and most drafts but a Midget wont be as sealed up as a modern car (good thing too)
if you have the cooling system and heater system cleaned out and the heater matrix sealed properly in the heater box and the heater tap/valve working then the heater matrix should get very hot and warm the small cabin, obviously if there are gaps for the heat to be lost from then the effect will be less

I can give you notes to help you but as you can tell I'm not one for the mumsy approach - PM me if you want any notes - I think by what you've put here alone that you gone off on classic car ownership half-cocked and need to learn a lot more about it but how you learn is up to you
