Just thought I'd post a positive comment on here about Aaron Radiators. They are making me an ally rad for my car delivered for £300! Hopefully it's as good as they look on their website! So if you're in need of a rad, then for the price they may be worth a call! I'll post some more feedback on it when I receive it sometime next week!

Have you guys fitted your radiators now? I need a new radiator for my Chim. Is the quality and fit good? Twin fan mounts ok?

Thanks.

Hi

I fitted one of these to my Griff.

A couple of things I noticed - the lower pipe connection is right at the bottom of the rad and it only just fitted without fowling the chassis, it could do with being maybe a cm higher up or angled slightly differently.

The mounts all lined up but I had to trim them to allow the rad to fit into the nose of my Griff. Also the rad comes fitted with a plastic screw in the bleed hole and you can't get a screwdriver on it when it's in the car so I had to replace it with a cut down bolt.

Fan mounts were OK to but again I had to adjust the holes a little on the mounts to get them all lined up, and the bolt holes were slightly different to the ones I had so I had to get some new bolts for them.

But overall very happy, I phoned them up and they gave me a generous discount just for asking and it was delivered inside a week.

I fitted mine a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't fit as well as the original but then all cars are different. I've managed to get it to fit well now though. The only thing I would point out is they havent bothered with polishing the tankls or flat parts, theyre just left in a plain wire brushed state prepped for welding. I guess this is one of the reason why its a lot cheaper than others, but then you don't really see it so I'm not too fussed.
