What happened to the Sagaris register / uncle Dave photos?

Was just looking at the Sagaris register and see all of the photos posted on uncle Dave are not working
Is there a way around this? Does anyone have copies of the photos?

I have a fair bit of free time on my hands and I'd be willing to start a new register and find somewhere to host it if the existing information on the register can be recovered...

I seem to remember uncle dave saying he was going to Uni??? or somewhere and didn't have the time to keep his website functional, i could be totally wrong as usual though.

Some time ago I asked Mr Will and he said there was a problem with the Uncle Dave site but he thought someone had a backup of the photos.
Perhaps he's not had time to sort it out.

The UncleDave.co.uk site was not part of PH, instead it was run by kind-hearted PHer UncleDave who has unfortunately had to shut the site down, for reasons detailed in this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I'll try to get in touch with him and see if he still has the pictures on file somewhere so we can try and arrange alternate hosting, but in the mean time the best solution is for everyone who can to resubmit pictures after loading them onto another site.

There are various image hosting sites out there and there is no need for everyone to use the same one. Probably the most convenient though is to use the "Upload an image (beta)" link at the top of the posting box which will allow you to upload a picture from your computer to thumbsnap and add it into your post in a very quick and easy fashion.

John Vaile (V41LEY)took over the running of the register and has done a great job, but since the 'uncle-dave' site closed it fell apart,
I have spoken with Dave Moran 'uncle-dave' and all content lost)
Not sure if John has the images, but I do have many.

The revised register is here if you want, as all the images are still on my web, or I can mail you all the images I have etc.

Sagaris Register – Grahams old Version

157 'Registered Cars' with a number of 'Un-registered Cars' known unidentified via Reg Plate. I think several maybe duplicates as 124 plus 8 or 9 unfinished was the official figure with 21? written off (some re-born in new colours)

A tricky business keeping track of this register as quite a few of the Sags change hands fairly frequently and people keep changing the reg. numbers!!

The Sag I owned was X1 WSD, I put T12 SAG on it and the person who owned it after me put his own plate on!
