Here’s an idea for bringing the side repeaters upto date a bit. I’ve cut the back of some low profile oval Ford ones (Mondeo/later Escort I think) and attached the fitting from some old original square ones. This way I didn’t have to change bulb holders or the hole in the bodywork. The new backs are made from CD’s so they reflect a bit of light. You can see from the first photo how it all goes together. The original bulbs are a bit long so I’ve ordered some inverted amber LED’s which are a few mm shorter and should hopefully fit perfectly. An improvement IMHO.

Look good but easier to buy these off ebay. Just stick on over the hole left by the old one. The connector just plugs into the fitting where the bulb was on the old one, if you just push it inside the body.

I saw those, but didn’t like them. Also I didn’t want to stick anything to my new paint work. Anyway, why do something the easy way when you can do it the hard way? biggrin And get exactly what you want.
