Hi All.
Well after 2 weeks in Tunisia, 5 days in bed with the flu and 5 days with my finger immobilised due to drilling a hole through the top I am back to work on the old girl.
Started to run the turbo outlets to the inter cooler, I have used some silicone jointers to connect the pipes but will weld most of them and have just one silicone connector at each end. Just need to fab some turbo outlets to the exhaust and that's just about it, hopefully I should be able to start stripping down for the chassis painting, just leather and paint left.

Nice one Alan,
Glad you had a nice break, sorry about the Flu. Lucky it wasn't man flu
Hope you remembered to deburr the hole in your finger after drilling it
A bloke at BAE I used to work with once ( only once! ) drilled into his knee and managed to produce a lovely curly spiral of bone
We asked him to do it again to show us how he managed it, but then it started to bleed.
Happy days....
Looking at your pics today, I'm just wondering about the intercooler cooling airflow.
Does it exit vertically above the radiator, or does it pass straight into the top of the radiator matrix?
Good luck & mind your fingers,
Glen.

Hi Glen.
There is a gap between the intercooler and the radiator just laying in place and need bolting down, I was going to make a splitter of some kind if there is a heat problem.
Just been down to do the water pipes and fit the swirl tank, not sure if the water is in at the top and out at the bottom, have not cut the holes in the tank yet, made up some pipes in silicone then will have them made is ally.
Plenty of bits to polish when done.

Hi Alan,
It's going to be so bling, you're gonna need shades whenever you open the bonnet.

I'm not sure of the water circulation on your Lexus V8 system, but your radiator hoses look the opposite way to my 2.8 V6. Depends on which way your water pump runs I guess.
Tom ( orange_dodo ) drew up a schematic diagram on here a while back to establish how the system should have been done by TVR in the first place ( 2.9 Cologne ).
Rob ( GriffinR ) has suggested and tested a modified layout which works well I believe.
Try a search on here.

Wow, respect indeed! My son is very much a turbo man (Toyota GT4's etc) and has been, very firmly, told to keep off my S. When he sees this I will be under pressure to get serious with mine. To think I was worried about new brackets to move the alternator...chicken feed after your engine bay!
I love the wheels too But, I really wonder how its going to handle the power over anything but perfect road surfaces with so little side wall . Its fairly well known that the later tivs running skinny tyres will try to throw you off the road if you run with any more than 24psi and you have more power. Go very carefully when you first test it . Absolutely love your project , cant wait to see it , do you have a completion target , s club maybe ?
