Nearly there! The engine fired up 1st turn and all the lovely shine kit from ACT is on. You can see the swirl tank, coolant pipes and exhaust system in the photos but they look even better in daylight in the metal. Tim at ACT has been a great help and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

The Cermakrome rocker covers and plenum don’t really look that special in the photos - but they are!

You’ll probably notice the coil has been moved to tidy up the area around the plenum and back of the alternator. The wiring has been “rationalised” as well to get rid of some of the spaghetti mess which was there originally.

Just a few more jobs to do. We won’t make Roar unfortunately but we’ll definitely be at BSG.

The cap is a large stainless bolt. On mine the pressure cap is on the header.

No change to the dizzy but the coil has moved to the LH head. See photo.

I've made a heat shield for the coil and this will go on at the weekend.
