Is this golf r32 mk4 worth it?

Does anyone think this is over priced http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/v...
Seems a minter

I'm surprised nobody has commented on the hideous aftermarket stereo and daft sub and amp mounted in the boot. Any one of those, or the wheels, would be enough to put me off purely on stereotyping the likely previous owner....I know you don't buy a car to make friends with the last owner, but it just doesn't look 'right'. At that price or anywhere near it, it needs to be mint and original.
ETA - of course if nothing posted here puts you off then you clearly really want it, so go take a look and see if it's in good order

It looks terrible and has been in the hands of a "Bad manz" by the looks of things.
That money would get you a nice Mk5 '32.
It does look like that. That money would get you a nice Mk5 '32.
Mk v, I am not keen on them, from the back they look good, the front looks stupid and then the tax goes up to £485 per year. No thanks!
Those alloys really do spoil the look. This one seems a far better option imo...

After owning a mk4 R32 for nearly 2 years and now in a mk5 R32, i'd say thats way overpriced, but it seams the Deep Pearl Blue ones always go for more money
I picked my silver Mk4 up for £5800 with 55k miles on and sold it 20 month later for £5500 with 78k miles on. lovely cars and id say the mk4 was more fun than the Mk5, but not much more money, the mk5 is more grown up and just a lot more modern all round.
i would personally pay a little extra and get the Mk5!
