New V6 Swirl pots in ally bling bling

I have contacted a guy who advertises on ebay regarding swirl pots.
He now has KeTVRin's old V6 swirl pot - he's had a look and can make replacement V6 swirl pots in ally for £98 plus £6 P&P (I have not clarified if VAT is applicable)

That's more than I paid that much for mine from AH Fab, but I suppose that's inflation for you.

I was making stainless ones for less than that and nobody would pay it. Same with fuel tanks, offering them for half the price elsewhere and all I got was people "thinking about it". Perhaps people are cautious of quality that is too cheap

I paid it, and Elfit did too and we are both happy with the product and the price (which was actually over what Chris is showing for the ally ones... did you say you were not making any more though Steve ? that kind of limits the choice...

Great work Chris, hopefully I will never be in the market for another but there will be an ongoing (if slow) demand for these i'm sure...

I made enquiries as a previous post said Steve had run out of swirl pots and wasn't making any more.
A more expensive solution is better than none at all in my view!

I have made another small batch but have to slightly more expensive, but only slightly, may make some more in autumn when things quieten down but sorry cant justify just making one offs. They along with the fuel tanks are excellent quality and I make virtually no profit but people still are reluctant to buy them. I make the swirltanks myself but dont have space or the equipment to make the fuel tanks myself.They need to be pressure tested before I can sell them which is not viable as one offs. The previous fabricator wont make them any more because he was expecting to be able to make them in larger batches. I have spoken to the firm who make my Grantura tanks, which are much more complicated and they have said they are prepared to look at "S" tanks. If there is REAL demand I will start making them again, REAL deamnd means firm orders. Swirlpots are on first come first served basis, I have 2x 2.8, 2x 2.9 and 1x V8. please phone I dont always have time to play email tennis
