Discussion
After failing to find any wheels I liked I thought I'd see whether Rota did their GTRs to fit our cars.
Well the short answer is, no. But after a discussion with a chap at www.rarerims.co.uk , they would be prepared to make some in Noble spec on a group buy basis.
They say that they would need interest for 10 sets before they adjust tooling so I'm wondering if anyone would be up for a set?

They'd also be available in 18 or 19 inch in their current range of colours - see here: http://www.rarerims.co.uk/alloys_sub2.asp?id=18&am...
Prices and weight info below, so if you're interested, stick your name down and whether you'd like 18s or 19s.

talked to julian at rare rims a year or so ago about the new as then sdm type rota.an awesome looking rim then and still is.rota are made in the philipines and are very well made and light.i personally have used them for many years and have yet to have any problem whatsoever.still have 2 sets sitting in my shed both gt3 types.things must have changed as i couldnt get them to make anything other than standard to their range.hope you get the 10 sets but i doubt it

beware the 19's may affect the final drive / speedo accurracy / ride height
look nice though !
I'd say they would definately affect all of those things but as a road car only (with some R888s on the standard wheels) it won't matter. The speedo is easily recalibrated by most owners anyway so not really an issue.look nice though !
Rotas are very popular with jap boys and as Artie says, they're light, strong and very well priced.
Take a look at www.rarerims.co.uk to see a *rough* idea on price and all the various finishes available.

I just had my compomotives delivered which is a shame as I like these ones more
Back them
I personally thought the MOs looked too 'rally slag' for the Noble IMHOFUNKSTER UK said:
I may well be up for a set of 18's depending on how long they would take to sort.
Matty.
I'm told that the lead time from payment is around 8 - 10 weeks Matty. We do need to get 10 interested parties paid up before they'll start tooling for obvious reasons so I'd say 3 months might be realistic I'm afraid.Matty.

Any idea on what the offset for front and back will be?
Just trying to get an idea of how the wheels will look.
I have quoted the offsets of our standard wheels so they will be exactly the same - ET23 front, ET35 rear.
Just trying to get an idea of how the wheels will look.
The batch we have made will be identical so if there are any suggested variations please mention them now as we might all be interested (9" wide fronts was my 1st thought???)

Nice!! i was hoping to get a set of Volks on mine someday, but have to admit i am very tempted by these....decision decisions
For those who might not have realised. if you have a decent side shot of your car you can upload it in the virtual fitting bay on the rare rims site, and have a play with the different designs and colours. The Torque drift wheel look nice too
