I have bought a fire damaged S2

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

As a possible restoration project, I already have Gerald

Now I'm looking for some help please, firstly I will need a few beefy individuals to help me lift the body tub off the chassis in the not too distant future, but will also need to store the body tub somewhere, can anybody closeish to Droitwich offer me a bit of ground for a little while. Dosent need to be under cover as i am expecting to remove anything while might detoriate eg hood, seats, trim, dashboard etc. Also somewhere to store the engine/gearbox would be useful as I am very strapped for space at home.

All help greatfully recieved.

Norman, depending when, happy to help (make it a sunny day so I have a nice drive though!).

Just don't let me near anything technical like spanners or hammers, it wouldn't be a good idea hehe

Norman,
Can help with a lift depending upon date and time.
Have got space for body storage but were on the east side of Redditch. Got no space internally though.

Didn't realise that had happened to that car. I remember it at East Mids meetings like this

Good luck with the rebuild.

Thanks Guys great to know people will help

FFG - redditch is close enough to me thanks for the offer for storage will probably take it up.

No idea yet when I'll post again when I've stripped the interior and the engine bay. As far as I can see every thing under the bonnet except the engine itself and rad are gone. Bonnet went to the tip today BUT two good front flashers

Norman,
You're welcome to come and have a look so we can discuss the best location and how long you think you'll need it.
Drop me a mail offline.
