Ok, not I didn't mind the pilot/movie. I thought it was OK, and helped that it wasn't a remake, more of a continuation. Anyway, I've just clapped eyes on the trailer for the new series, and I'm fuming. They have turned what was a passable excuse for a KITT, into a chavtastic halfords special!! have a look and see what you think...

I think thats him after going into 'Boost mode' or something- like in the origional show, when he sprouted all those wings and things to make him 'go faster'. smile

I'm watching it now on the NBC website - that's KITT in "attack mode".

At one point KITT turns into what looks like a Ford F-250 pickup...

The whole of the pilot was just one big product placement ad for Ford, and Michal is indeed, a dull american.

Well I just forced myself to watch the first episode on the NBC website - it was painfully bad. I give it six episodes at most.

If they have'nt got William Daniels to do the voice again, it just won't be the same.

IIRC it's Val Kilmer doing it now.

um....whilst i dont like the new mingstang, and certainly dont like remakes of old stuff and trying to make it cool again, what is the difference between that mustang crashing into halfords these days as opposed to kitt crashing through qauntum leap into halfords for SPM

at least 7 air scoops and 2 spoilers on there, the new one is actually less chavtastic than the original one. least they put some effort into the new one.
the new one is like one of those modified cars which you look at and go, "not a big fan of that, but the work and qaulity is excellent some serious time spent in that"....the old transam looks like those faded red astras that go around with massive front and rear bumper, which are still in there white gelcoat and all ready beaten to bits, with no other mods, well maybe some chrome mirrors and lexus lights and the obligatory silver wiper blades

i think they have done a better job than the original time. your right though the series will probably be complete toss though, wont be as good as the original, even though the original series wasnt that good anyways, just cheesy good lol
