Just been down to Chepstow today to 'suss out' a new TVR indie called FORZA WEST.Looks like it'll be a real godsend for those of us in this area,as we get little specialist coverage over this neck of the woods for sorting out our P&J's.Stuart, the owner and technician(i always like to see the owner get their hands dirtybiggrin )has already been busy on TVR's,Fezzas,Jags and BMW's,such is the mans great reputation in the performance car world. He's a BMW master technician as well as a factory trained TVR guru,so i really hope he gets the amount of support for his new business that he deserves as he's a really brave chap starting up in such hard times, economically speaking.I've already had work done by Stu in the past, and can well recommend him.His fixed price TVR service menu also looks very fair on price as wellyesclicky
Best of luck Stuart,i'm sure i'll be seeing a lot more of youthumbup

That's a great price for a Cerb 4.5 service....£550 for the 12kml including oils, parts, labour and vat. I know where you'd pay double that....

Yep,i think they are very fair and competative on pricing indeed.Sometimes low prices might look too cheap(i've been caught out with 'bargains' before at other places),but you certainly wouldnt have to worry that any corners were cut for that price with Stuart,he's not that kind of chap, quite the opposite infact,ie fussy and thorough!
I can really see this place doing wellsmile

Dear All,
I have had my TVR Crebera 4.2 serviced (12k)at Forza West (Stuart Martin tel 01291 624563) in Chepstow.
His is a start up business and so I went to have a chat first. No question, he knew his stuff. My Cerbera has been off the road for 6 months (It ran like a Kangaroo with haemorrhoids) so I bit the bullet and sent it in. The service and support was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!!. I had an old duff Engine management box and one I bought from E Bay in the car. It turned out that both were poor. Stuart showed me the problems with both and then proceeded to make one good one from the 2 bad ones. (Tell me another garage that will do that!) Before the service I was getting 18mpg. I thought this was normal for swift driving as it has been this way since I bought the car after a 12k service. This last week I have been on 2 x 400 mile journeys. Each returning 27MPG. The saving alone in fuel cost will almost cover the service if I cover 12k in the year. He also fitted RED Stuff pads (Had to drill out the blead nipples and replace these). Stuart showed me a worn flex brake hose and then shopped around for the best parts at the best price, only the cost of the parts was passed onto me. If you are interested the bill came to £655 (I supplied the oil).
Would I recommend Forza West to other TVR owners? Without hesitation. We have got a good one here.

Stuart : If you read this - I wish you every success in your business. You have my custom from now on.

The big question is do they do Speed 6 servicing too; they're far closer than our current garage?!
