Pistonheads Xmas Night out East Yorks.

Following on from the success (and sore heads) provided by our Beverley meet the other night a few people mentioned interest in another one before Xmas. There are probably others who can't justify the cost of a Leeds night out (ok ok I'm tight) so a cheaper night out in Beverley (or another town if wished but Beverley seems about in the middle and a fair few PHers live there) seems a good plan. All I will say is if you were planning on going to the Leeds do I suggest you still do, even though I left early last year it was a smashing do.
So I propose a bite to eat to line the stomach followed by a night out on the beer.
Options could be doing the cornerhouse beer and pint night (what night is this? Thurs?)
Or doing as Emma and I did on Sat night and popping to Khans Indian for the early bird (pre 6.30 it turns out it's £6.95 for starter, main, rice or naan and tea or coffee to finish) then on in to town.
Any preference on night/date?

It's difficult with me being away from home during the week to be honest. I've dropped the price considerably on PH, even if it is still above what you'd part with 
. If I dont get rid of it this Sunday then it's going on eBay for a week long auction. At least then its definitely gone.I shall expect a pint waiting when I get a good price for it
PS: The other MR2 will be either stripped or up for sale this w/end too!
About the only date I can make it out for a social is the 12th Dec, but I can't be in 2 places at the same time.
Isn't this in danger of splitting a potentiall larger group up from the Leeds date, or is it 'cos people can't make it to Leeds? We all shared some decent rooms at the Jury's I recall, so it wasn't too pricey anyway.

It isn't meant to take people from the Leeds group at all, speaking personally for a night out (although a good night out) driving across to Leeds, getting a room then an expensive night out and driving back the day after is a lot of expense and hassle. As a lot of us live within 10 mins of Bev it makes good sense, plus as has been already said it is far easier to get served!
