But we still shouldn't get Tasers to deal with idiots like this; we should be rolling around in a test of strength.

A nice illustration of just how difficult it can be to deal with someone who doesn't want to come quietly - even a slightly built "lady" can cause a hefty bloke problems.

I can't say that I found that section very pleasant to watch at all ..... and I don't think the warning before the show was specific enough to warn people correctly.

Chases and crashes are to be expected on a show like this but I just think that was something that warranted a far better warning. I can understand them showing it as it was quite 'exceptional' as an occurance if people know what I mean by that .... just poor by the BBC IMO re the warning.
yes I know exactly what you mean. It was so unbelievable and unpleasant I had goose bumps on my arms - I was really really shocked.
Having said that, I'm glad I watched it - I may well not have done had the BBC given a harsher warning.

Dealing with the sort of collision they showed with one woman hit at 40+ mph and another spinning under an HGV is actually my job at work ... and I have been to many, many such collisions (never in those circumstances though thank God!) and know exactly what I was expecting to see as an aftermath with bits of body smeared over the road - which is what usually happens. It didn't but the shock levels for those there and the poor drivers involved would be horrendous.

Given what I choose to do for a living and for me to not appreciate their showing of it in the way they did I think says quite alot.

They showed it all on the 6 o'clock news to advertise the traffic cops programme later in the evening. Yes, it was a bit much for that time of day.

By the way, did we find out what was going on? I know one of them got a days jail sentence rolleyes but .....were they on something, what possessed them to to such a stooopid thing?

One thing's for sure, if the shoe was on the other foot and as a driver you took the same action, deliberately driving in to a group of pedestrians, you would be hung drawn and quartered and rightly so. Yet these crazed women, who could have caused a major pile up and many fatalities, receive what punishment?

As for the Iranian illegal immigrants, unbelievable! May as well just send an open invitation to them! What the hell is going on! No wonder they come in droves! How many police hours are spent as in that example, providing the two with a chauffeur, an interpreter, just to send them on their merry illegal way? Why bother at all if that's the action taken?

That was the stand out "What the F*%!?" moment for the year! Madness.

What struck me was every person the police dealt with over the hour long show was an immigrant! If that does not indicate somethings seriously wrong with our countries immigration policies I don't know what does.

I dread to think how much of our police force's time is took up with these people & how many £'s of our hard earned taxes are being wasted.

They should pick em up, lock em up until immigration services arrive then ship em off to the nearest airport & send them back where they came from. It was shown beyond all doubt with the 2 Iranians that our system does not even seriously try to control immigration.

The one officer said they were high...... Was that the case ? If so can anyone steer me towards the dealer, that st looks good smile

I've just watched it again on that youtube link, and that looks like a suicide attempt.

Fair play to the girl in Red jacket, she got ran over on both carriageways, ran back in to the original for a third attempt & took on six geezers in a brawl.

I wonder if she's available for close protection duties scratchchin

I bet her boyfriend's sitting there thinking....hhmmmm might be a good time to knock that affair on the head

The show demonstrated what a piss poor state of affairs the situation is.

He's illegally here but perhaps 16 so we'll get social services 'age assessment team' and serve them with a bit of paper and let them walk out. What ste.
