Came across this

How the feck did that happen? No marks on the tvr and nothing on the road showing clues either

Me and my passenger couldn't, no matter how hard we tried, work out what had gone on..

The pic may be a little hard to deciphere (sp) so for anyone that knows the West midlands (solihull) area, it's Stratford road going into Shirley, just comign off the motorway there is a Harvester on the left.

For anyone that doesn't, it's a two lane dual carriageway with a raised grass verge in the centre. 40 zone, no skid marks, no marks on the grass reservation, and definitely wasn't there last night.

Do apologise for the st pic but it's hard to get a pic whilst moving! Just find it funny how the first TVR I see in months is one in this state haha

RWD + rain don't mix lol

Possibly but it landed too perfect if that makes sense, and he would have had to have been going very fast to have done that without hitting the grass in any way! Not too sure why it was just abandoned either as it "looked" driveable, no one was even around it!

Behind the TVR in that pic is the pub carpark, makes no sense!

Ah well suppose weirder things have happened before wink

I thought Cerbera's were well known for trying to kill you every time you get behind the wheel.

I still want one more than pretty much anything else in the world though....cloud9

Perhaps it came over the hedge from the pub car park.

Not possible, from inside the pub carpark the bushes were fine with no signs of a car going through them. It's definitely come from the road direction

Its a TVR, which is a bit of a giveaway. Any TVR owner will know that they can break down anytime/anywhere. Perhaps the owner left it there and hes in the pub waiting for the AA laugh

If it was wet then it probably wouldnt have left skid marks. I wish people would stop wasting these cars as there wont be any left in 10 years. At least this one should be ok.

Isn't there a scamera just as you get to the traffic lights by the Harvester?

My guess - came off M42, put foot down past Tesco in rain, spotted scamera too late, braked too heavily and found out that cars without ABS don't always brake in a straight line?

Its statements like this crap that give TVR a bad name, yeah they break if they're not looked after but being based ona race engine i would say they are pretty reliable on the whole.

Not true, only in the wet laugh na they have to be driven though, cant just run them like any other car, hence the 3 foot accelerator to control the power - TVR's Traction control system lol

That camera almost caught me out the other day.

Didn't it used to be A 60 there, changing to 40 when you got to the lights at Elmdon ?

Perhaps after losing control and spinning up the bank the inertial cut-off tripped and he wasn't able to find how to reset it in the dark? Or maybe just gone home for a change of underwear.
