just to let a few know who wasnt at the fab club dinner last night, Leigh and I sneakily brought Sir Steve's 'old' 06 blue and white coupe on friday its now sitting in Brum, we surprized a few last night its racked up 6K miles and still in good nick the 3 day valet has already started
it came into James Atlantic Sports cars on tuesday afternoon on sale or return, so i popped south on wednesday for a rush hour test drive,
moved the money thursday, then Leigh and Dan collected it Fri am
after the intial drive i reckon it feels more solid on the road, has super fast steering compared to the GTS and also according to Leigh pulls pretty well on the top end, i havent driven it on a empty road as yet. It has a side pipe corsa which supplies pops and bangs but its a little to quiet, at the moment... got the first few trinkets on the way from JonB,Chuck and MGW
just like to say many thanks to James and Baz for making it a smooth deal
ill pop some pics up later

the corsa isnt particularly loud though it delivers quite a nice sound, no headers on order yet, ive just started reading up whats the best route to go, have you altered yours Dave?
having owned a rather muted RT, in my eyes a good exhaust note is half the fun in driving a viper
the good thing about the GTS setup it isnt loud all the time, only when you want it to be, so cruising is pleasant, a conversation can be hold and you dont loose your hearing

had a chilly day outside tinkering, swapping the wheel arch bolts, some under hood and dash bolts (cheers Paul!) for stainless, slapping on a couple of stickers
It has scrubbed up pretty good so far, got to get the wheels off when its warmer
managed to get a few pics, the MGW kit should hopefully arrive this week so those bits will liven up the dash

Not normally a lover of anything other than a Gen2 Coupe, but the new Beast looks stunning!(Think the colour helps) Please can we have a Gen2 V Gen3 Coupe review when the sunny times arrive, I think we would all be rather interested to know how they compare.
Look forward to seeing it around next year....have fun!!
