Try this link

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-BMW-M3-CSL-GREY_W0QQite...

or just type in 230289615336 in the search box.

This has been sold several times in the last couple of years. I don't know it personally, but I did see the crash damage pictures. I will try and find them

Found them. This was sold (repaired) on eBay back in May, item number: 140232780114 , Sold for £17,095.

This was the state of it in Oct 2006.

could something like that be repaired properly? the ebay ad says light damage almost like it had a parking mishappening or something.

New roof, new chassis leg?, suspension turret, wing, bumper, bonnet, arch liner, windscreen, wheel + god knows what else.

Could it be fixed? yeah, but obviously not at a cost the insurer liked....

In the ebay add I think the car looks rough and not like it has been cared for that well... if it sells for good money I'll be dissappointed.

Is it just me, or does the front drivers side wheel look like it is too far back?

That CSL has definitely been on eBay a couple of times. I notice the seller has pulled it now. It's come up so many times now that either the car is badly repaired and when people have bought it they have found the true state of it, or it never really gets sold, but merely bid up by non genuine bidders.

Judging by the pics on here that's no light damage for sure and I guess to be repaired properly and handle correctly it would need some serious suspension geometry set up work. Could cost quite a bit to out right.

You could probably get a 40k miler now for £25k with a bit of haggling. You may end up spending that amount on this car to get it right!
