Just renewed insurance for my 2000 GT3 through Peart Associates, (Tel.0870 2402972) with Royal and Sun Alliance. Wife and I driving for S D and P ( no business use), 8000 miles per year, protected NCB, no blameworthy accidents or points for either of us over the last 5 years, £500 excess, £60 windscreen excess,Thatcham Cat 1 alarm /immobiliser fitted (standard on the car anyway) £523-53, should anyone be about to renew their own policy.

Have you got another car you can use as your main car?

My everyday transport is a Vauxhall Corsa diesel, at the other end of the scale.

Interesting as I did mine through Peart (and R&SA) about a week before Xmas on a 2003 C4S. I didn't do so well on price though as it came out at 880 for me and the wife. I came to them with proof of 5+ years NCD on current policies in my name for two other cars with Direct Line and as a result they gave me some kind of introductory discount - but not the full NCD you seem to have achieved ?
The insurance companies seem to work everything with a sprinkling of pixie dust so it may not be a valid comparison. I wasn't unhappy with my premium which was a huge improvement on Norwich Union and a couple of others - until I saw yours

Interesting....my quote from N.U. was £470 for a 993TT , 6,000 miles per year , full no-claims, garaged etc... 1 claim last 5 years...it seems to vary so much!
P.S. I used 'confused.com' to get the comparisons...seems to work well.

Mentioned on here before but Asset Trust are worth a call. I'm in Docklands with no garage but off street parking and major mods to my car and they quoted me very well indeed.

I'd just like to wade in with my recommendation for Herts Insurance.

Just renewed and got quotes from over 20 companies.

Best quote was £879, Herts did it for £780, with track day cover.

Might be worth calling them if you need a quote.

Details here:

P.S. Obviously, if your circumstances are different you may find someone else is cheaper!
