Speedo not working

Drove home last night and noticed that the speedo has stopped working, any ideas what make have caused this, will i need to replace the unit.

Mine stopped working some time ago and I had it repaired - have a look at www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=211268&f=8&h=0&hw=speedo. If not speedo could be the sensor just in front of the diff on the propshaft - take a back wheel off and you can check wires etc.

Are any other dials not working? I lost all my dials when I was playing with the fusebox & had not replaced a 15A fuse properly.

I had speedo problems last year. It was the sensor.

When mine went it was the transducer that had packed up. I think they are about £50-£60 for the part.

thanks for the replies, im having it looked at this weekend
