That surprises me a bit,mine were the TDG216 for the front(didn't look into the rears).The GD150 are for hub dia 150mm,and when i measused mine,the outer dia of the disc was barely 150mm over the hub,so i knew without taking the disc off,that my hub dia. was the smaller size.Lig found his were the smaller size also.

old disc 138
1 spacer so offset already correct ( presume this is because the discs had already been replaced with a different offset...


Considering no Caliper upgrade or Disc dia increase i'm very pleased with the result, feel much more solid/positive

I think i will be cleaning the guide pins on the fronts on a regular basis as so much grud i'm sure thats why my inner pad went

Good result then Its a minefield once you start looking up brake specs it seems.

I think there might be a little confusion amongst some of the retailers here,as one well known specialist i spoke to,only sold and fitted the GD150's,and didn't realise there was a different size!Mind you,i think the worst that will happen if you fit the larger ones by mistake,is that the disc will be off cetre slightly in the caliper,due to the different offset.

So lig has a 96 yours is 2000 Mike and they have the smaller size Hubs Dereks is a 97 and has the Larger Hub. Good old TVR consistancy, Now mines a 96 so I am going to bet it being the large one..well it cant be the same as Lig's can it.

See what you mean minefield, will have to measure mine tomorrow as really need to get some discs and pads.

No But I have the Big Gahooners

HAve taken delivery of the same Discs/pads as you Del, the guy John at proven-products was really helpful and chatty. Just got to finish tidying other stuff up now why its on the jacks with all the wheels and discs off before putting the new ones on.
