no problems with ours, but we only topped up with about a tenners worth.

If we do this again, we should stop at the garage again, it was a good regrouping point and a chance for people to get money/petrol if needed

Yeap, it was odd, I filled up again with Optimax from the Shell on the A12 near Petits Lane and after a few miles everything was good again, but I had a tank of the stuff as I was running on fumes that night.

On another note my Brother In Law runs the 'Essex Roadsters club" mainly MGF's etc. Their stuff in more modified than ours with spoilers, stripes, big wheels etc but their a nice bunch. They have a meet at the Halfway House on the A127 (A128 Junction) on the 3rd Thurs of every month, my Brother In Law has invited us down if we're looking for a Thurs night run out destination. As the average age of them is probably younger then ours (though my B.I.L is 39) TVR's are a little of their reach so they would be more than interested in seeing some proper sports cars

The Aug one was last Thursday The Sept one is the one we have been invited to.

have to give most of the credit to Martin(puffsorted) though, he suggested the meet point and route, I just started the thread and tagged along, as for Mark well his job was to keep the car clean and in good working order

we'll probably be doing the run up to the halfway house on the 21st sep, but if you fancy popping to the woodman before then pick a date, Mark is on the wrong shifts for the next couple of weeks, but thats not stopped me before, just means I get to drive

The Halfway House is definatly on, just got to decide on a meet point - maybe Halfords car park at Gallows Corner, any other suggestions?
