A quick one for Mr Jellison.

Sorry........just doesn't come anywhere close to the Brit one.

Nice 'friendly fire' you've just reduced them to 31 states

Cool - like the wavy element on the bottom one. So is someone looking to have these in enamel as per original?

Hi Jon.

As mentioned earlier, I've toyed with the idea for a couple of years to have one knocked up for myself, but when T5SOR started doing the front badges the other month, I was hoping he would be doing rear ones as well so saving me a job, but that was not to be.

I've spoken with a friend of mine who will do a proper job of them, whether we do them in enamel or metal is still to be decided, as with the 'style' of flag and font colours.

So as a bit of a pole what would people prefer?

(a) a flat Union Flag or a wavey Union Flag
(b) silver (chrome) letters and surround / black letters and surround

I know it was said a couple of pages ago that silver lettering and surround didn't look good with the background and that it would need to be black, but the images I put up are pretty scabby and don't do it justice.

Plus if it's silver it would match the front badge that people got from T5SOR.

Out of curiosity though.........I know T5SOR did it, but are you even allowed to make these badges due to copyright?

Wavey flag
Chrome letters

proper chrome will look a lot better than the visual, especially if it had a black outline yes

Am I missing somthing! but has this thread gone form an interesting technical development into a bunch of girls discussing jewllery/nails, reminds me of a few years ago 'shall I put Gold badges on my Chimaera, what do you think' ahhhhh.
Why do you even need a badge to show you have a supercharger? (if indeed you have, but you you sell a load to tossers in stock cars!!!)

Rant over Col

Er..I shouldn't say this...but...I have been, shall we say, a tinsy-winsy bit less than honest with my other half over cost...I think I've understated it by...about...well...lets just say A LOT.

LOL, sadly it isn't about the money, she claims the car is fast enough as it is.. She doesn't really like driving it at the moment as she is scared of the power of it, and she won't do a ride drive type course as she is too nervous to drive with strangers??! And with even more power, it just means I would be the only one who drives it, which is no bad thing from my point of view anyways...

Still, I can't wait to hear about how you get on this weekend, take a few nappies with you to be on the safe side.....

Well, to be fair, half of it is hers. But, out of the 1500 or so miles we have put on it, she has done about 30, and driven the car twice...........

Let mine try once in last one - she hated it and I was wetting myself.

No offense ladies! But when all that power kick in you mostly just panic...

My better half had a go in mine (500), once. 5 minutes later she stopped, sweating (not glowing or perspiring, sorry, the steam was rising off her). Never again she said, and she's been true to her word. That said a female friend also had a go, at Silverstone no less, loved it, and later bought her own. Her husband had a go, and was so cack handed he practically ripped the diff off its mountings at every gearchange. Thankfully he recognised his less than optimal use of the controls and stopped.

Some people have no trouble with them, others just can't handle 'em.

It is odd - some chick really are good but most just push on and when it goes have no understanding of what to do. Blokes that have this issue should not be allowed new powerful sportcars with no techno crap (insert which ever electronic device you hate most!) to stop them crashing into other innocent road users.

Cool - but then anyone can drive one of those 4x4 electricery things.

But respect. LAK on her is Damned Fast in a Griff200 again max respect. My wife know what my car can do and know she would be Sooo far out of her depth, that she never wants another go. Some people just can't admit they are crap though.

I have long list of things I am crap at - I just don't do them
