Thanks

Yes it's an X19 but running a big (2.3 litre I think) flat 4 VW engine and twin 48 carbs

Yeah great shots Nick. Do you need a photographers pass to get down by the side boards on a none FIA weekend or can anyone get close. I've only ever been to the biggies where you obviously kept well back from the action (for obvious reasons), but would love to get close to the action as they take off, maybe I should go and visit a run what you brung day.

I was on a crew pass for one of the VW Sportsman cars, apparently I was only supposed to be there when our car was running so got chucked out after about 45 mins. I did try and get a press pass before the event but they don't recognise websites as publications, even though my own website gets more visits that most of the specialist mags circulations

And, yet more brilliant pictures.

What's your workflow? You seem to get them sorted and online quicker than I ever can.

Workflow, all done in Photoshop CS2, although these din't need much really. Top tip is to get a laptop so you can work away in the lounge with the wife and not get any grief about dissapearing for hours on end

Think I may have to invest in CS2 at some point. I don't have a wife although I do have a boyfriend and a laptop !

Looking forward to the next installment.

Truly inspirational stuff. I love your eye for detail. You also manage to convey the atmosphere of the meets very well. Please don't stop posting.
I really hope to try to get to more events this year and would love to try and emulate your style.
