Does anyone have any experience of their costs ?

I have an 26 month old 606 that has already been repaired under warranty (Dry solder joint and would not show one of the channels when you tried to put it on to it)

It has now had the same problem happen again ,I did a quick change the hdmi lead into the next port along from it and it worked for a week but has now stopped working on all of them except the TV one ,so if I want to watch anything other than Sky I am have to watch it through the Tv speakers frown

Another question am I just unlucky with it having faults as I did a fair amount of research before buying it and it seemed that Onkyo always got glowing reports ?

Richer Sounds have done the (many) repairs to my Myryad amp, so I'm sure they can fix an Onkyo.

BTW, don't buy a Myryad, unless you like getting it rebuilt every 2 years due to the magic smoke escaping.

I think it's called techserve the UK company that fixes ONKYO. They are superb. My wife had smoke coming out of the top of my 705 playing take that one christmas - they took it back and replaced pretty much everything inside even though out of warranty, paid for the courier both ways and charged me nothing saying that it should never have been able to happen in the first place!

P155ed on my fire with the wife though, apparently my reaction was "extreme".

Edited:

It's Genserve http://www.genserve.co.uk/
