Houx power sockets - what type are they?

What sort of adapter will I need to plug a UK 3-pin plug into the power sockets at Houx? Also, how many of these are there (1 per pitch?), and does anyone know if there is a limit to the amount of current you can draw?

Ed - you will need the normal European adaptor for the sockets - a heavy duty four gang extension lead would be useful - and some tape to tape the plug into the socket as they have a habit of 'falling' out.

Not sure about the limit on electricty tho'

BTW Tesco are selling adaptors for about £1.99

No limit on the leccy. It is possible to trip it though!

Does each pitch in Houx Annexe have elecy as well?

I don't think Houx Annexe has power points IIRC.

I Think houx is the only one with power points

it was my first yer last year,and i had similar questions.the power points are all at one end of the rows and its first come first served.having said that most people are really freindly and people just link up to each others extensions once all the power points are taken.how much load you can draw i dont know,but what amazed me last year was just how much stuff was linked up without any problems,so its quite a lot!the power is inclusive,and houx is the only site with power i believe.

Errrr from memory.....
The sockets are 2 pin euro style and they are in concrete pillars with the water outlets
There are about enough for one every 3/4 pitches and depending what pitch number you have you could be 10-15 meters from the plug so take a long lead
There are no sockets in 'Houx Annex' only in 'Houx' but there is water in both
Never seen one trip out even when running large sound systems, and there is no charge for the leccy
all details based on previous years, so don't moan if it's different this year
