The car I have just bought has a hideous blue and grey interior which looks very old and tired. Also the drivers seat is torn so the plan is to completely retrim it including carpets. However I have no idea what sort of combination will look best? Can people post up suggestions or even better photos of the nicest interiors they have seen on a t350.

Also can anyone hazard a guess how much I will need to budget to do this?

The interiors in that horrid light blue are what put me off buying a spec silver car when I bought mine. I think a blue/light grey combo would work well.

btw, by the time you've spent a few k on the interior, shocks and other tidbits you'll have spent as much as a 'good' T350 smile (but at least it will be to your taste!).

My other half has a new shape MR2 in silver with red leather interior, looks very good and much better than blacks and blues. Very much my personal opinion but any portland grey (or similar) interior should be taken out and shot. Grey leather is for pensioners slip ons

Hmm, yes, red might work as long as it doesn't end up looking like a vagina in there.

Mines Mulberry, so a nice deep red and IMHO really suits the car.

I recon black leather with silver/white stitching would look sweet with spectraflair silver...

Something like that would also be my choice, with eye catching oversized stitching.

I always thought the interior of this one looked good after seeing it in the flesh when drive style had it

Looks nice, personally I prefer the lower dash to be all one colour, with just the upper part of the upper dash to be accented.

In my opinon everything has to be black - maybe a little splash of white or cream, but not in the stitching.

Trouble is black on black gets very hot in the summer, in a car that may not have aircon and generates shedloads of heat soak...

Black with a splash of grey or black with a splash of red. or black with carbon leather and a wee bit of grey. As per KJ black with a touch of colour.
Definately not cream, light blue, grey, butterscotch or saddle.

After getting a few quotes there doesn't seem to be any saving doing carpets and interior together would I be daft to do it in two stages, carpets first then leather retrim?

This is the tired looking interior of mine at the moment, would it look like a dogs dinner changing the carpets first to black?

If it is of any interest to you there is a black interior for sale on ebay at the moment for very little money. I think the entire carpet set is £60 It could be worth buying and fitting just to see wether you like it. If you dont youve only wasted £60. Just a thought.
