Quallifying was a disaster, got caught out on the wrong tyres in changing weather condtions and a red flag incident. This resulted in very limited qually time and started 12th on the grid. However, we came away with two race wins, absolutely fantastic drive!woohoo

Race 1, Sean was in the lead before the end of the 1st lap and controlled a comfortable lead, incredible!! yikes

Race 2, Sean was up to 2nd place after the opening laps and putting pressure on 1st place who was defending well, but then another red flag incident, the safety car was deployed and came back in with only a couple of seconds on the clock. This left 1 lap to go and Sean carried good pace through the Bomb Hole and exited Corum to take the lead before the start/finish straight, amazing!! thumbup

Needless to say, we had a wee celebration last night after an awesome weekend! party

Congratulations to Sean Huyton for what was a truly amazing drive and many thanks to Academy Motorsport for a fantastically well prepared car! bow

Was an ok weekend, very long & tiring hehe We had problems racing for that one. Our car caused the Red Flag during Qualifying.

We had a lot of hard work fitting that engine in on Saturday night, only for it to go again in Race 1.

So didn't get to see much actual racing. frown But as with Oulton, great paddock & great atmosphere.

Yup. That's our team car & Rich Getting out the car.

Engine Blew. Had new engine arrive that night at 11pm. Finished installation just after 5am. Then back up again at 7:45 to continue work on getting it ready for race 1.

I Know. I hadn't seen the trailer until I got to the garage on Thursday evening. Fantastic to work on.

Although is a heavy old lump when towing it back.
