Does anyone else think this is all blown out of proportion?

Would you rather be slipped some Rohypnol and wake up iffy & unsure or would you rather be dragged into a dark alley.

Pretty different.

Yes I think this is a PC brigade blowup rather than anyone has stepped back and though about WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID.

He said his piece in a clumsy and insensitive manner especially with regards to a rape victim on the end of a phone.

BUT

I took what he was saying to mean if you're a horny bloke, for whom a date got out of hand and you both had a bit too much to drink, and you took it too far/misconstrued signal. if you then held your hand up and pleaded guilty then a degree of leniency should be shown by the court in contrast to serial, pre-meditated, predatory rape on the street say. The two things are different in my eyes and yes the former is less serious than the latter (although bad) in the same was as manslaughter is less serious than premeditated serial murder.

It's actually the professionally offended that have caused this and KC has in fact brought up an imoportent topic for debate. Of course, he should lose his job for saying what lefties might take offence too according to them

He spoke the truth, he concurred with how judges judge rape cases, end of story.

If anyone is being distasteful it's Miliband et al who are trying to make capital from ths situation. Is there no topic off limits for their brand of faux outrage?
