Looking forward to this, looks like a hell of a place, literally!

Extortion, violence and general brutality among inmates are seen as routine and, by and large, staff leave them to get on with it ("Aint no telling what's gonna happen once we close that door," says one warder).
There's something deeply disturbing I find watching that nerd going in. He's not even been to trial yet and now the only way he's gonna even have a chance of surviving is by toughening up and turning into a piece of scum himself.
Is that really a good thing in the overall scheme of things?!

What sort of country is the US? Innocent until proven guilty but holed up in a dank cell with 20 others, most of whom are hardened criminals wanting to fight you for your shoes, jesusIs that really a good thing?!

Where is the duty of care to these people. 95% are innocent and haven't been convicted! Left to get battered by bigger blokes.
I assume you mean "Not proven guilty" rather than "innocent". Unfortunately, that's just the way it is. Over crowded prisons, long legal system, too dangerous to be on the streets, it's only ever going to end one way.Laurel Green said:
I bet he's stting himself.
Yep. However I'm sure that the Beeb gave Louis a good supply of industrial strength Reg Grundys [end cheap gag].That chap looked rather young and about 10st dripping wet. There must have been 100% arse gravy running down his leg because there's little doubt about what was going to happen at some point.
He's just back on and he's definitely bullstting - walking like John Wayne.
