I am a huge collector of retro games consoles so I thought I would start a thread on them. I picked up a truely mint Commodore 64 at a boot fair today so here it is together with some of my others gems.
Mint boxed Commodore 64
Mint boxed Atari 2600 Sunnivale Woody
Atari Jaguar - new old stock
Super Nintendo as new
Nintendo Virtual Boy as new
Neo Geo
Nintendo Game Boy Resident Evil Edition - new old stock
MB Vectrex and boxed games
Sega Mega CD - as new
Oric Printer - new never used
This is just a small selection of my collection so enjoy the pics and post what you guys have and if anyone knows where there is a mint boxed Panasonic/Goldstar 3do for sale then please let me know

WOW Another Vectrex owner
Not got a box, but I've got most of the games still boxed and it still works too. Many a happy hour playing those games. I also have a SNES and one of the proper old school atari console somewhere too.
I did have the Megadrive, mega CD and loads of bits for it but I really only bought it to play final fight. when it came on a retro game for the xbox I got rid of it sadly.
I've also got an original Atari Lynx 1 and 2x Atari Lynx 2's plus the orginal Gameboy somewhere, I may have to dig them back out again now.

really? any idea why it wont work?
Something to do with refresh rates I think. Apparently you can sometimes get them to work if you set your TV to some silly resolution but I haven't tried Dr G said:
I do still have the Game Boy I bought way back in 1990 in perfect condition in its original box (will take a snap tonight).
I forgot... I also have a drawer full of Gameboys at my parents - the Colour, Advance and Advance SP. As well as a Sega GameGear. Somewhere, I also have two Nintendo game watches where you could play a really basic version of Zelda and something else on your watch. I might have been a bit of a Nintendo FanGirl as a child
Nice collection. That Virtual Boy is quite a find! You must have got hold of an import - it never officially made it over here did it?
I regret getting rid of my old consoles. It was about the time when I had my N64 I decided to never sell another console again.
I used to have a Commodore 64, Master System (mark 1), SNES and GameBoy (mark 1) but all were traded in, except for the C64 which ended up in a skip.
I have held on to my GameBoy Pocket, N64, DreamCast, PS2, GameCube, Wii and PS3 though, and they won't be going anywhere!
I have always said that one day, when I have somewhere with enough space, I will start a collection of old consoles. Always liked the idea of having some of the less successful consoles that I remember wanting when younger, such as a Jaguar, Amiga CD32 and 3DO.

Well I've got my 80's home office set up now.
On my big old desk I've got my Atari St, second drive and screen, my 1973ish green GPO 746 phone and my commodore LED calculator!!
Now I just need to sell the big pile of Atari ST machines, spares and games I have collected in my search for the few bits I wanted!!

My parents threw out my mint (and boxed, with original instructions, receipt from 1989 etc) Amstrad cpc6128+ last year
I've got an N64 that I still play, does that count as retro these days?
Still got my 6128 - drive is knackered though, anyone know where I can source a drive belt for a 3 inch disk drive (rubber band with a circular cross section about 2 inches in length) ?I've got an N64 that I still play, does that count as retro these days?
