Spa Classic this weekend

Got a whole load of us heading down to Spa on Friday to watch the weekends action! We're in a group of Elise & Exige's. Some standard and some, not so standard Also doing the track laps, a'la Classci Le Mans.

Here' hoping for close racing, good weather and one or two beers!

Oh we will do! If you spot a load of loti passing by, be sure to do the same

Last time I was at this is was in September! Wish they'd keep to programme..how are you supposed to plan your summer's motorsport if they keep moving these things about...
By the way, why is this in the Le Mans forum???

I think this is the first time they're running this event, at least in this format and by these organisers.

It's run by the same company that puts on the Le Mans Classic, which is probably the main reason it's been mentioned in this forum now and in the past.

Yep! Same forum as the classic le mans threads are posted in. This is as Nick says, because those that go to CLM might be going to Spa.

Hi - OK, if this is a new event then there are two classic weekends at Spa - good to have the choice! The Sept event I went to was called the Six Hours of Spa.

Does this mean that the people running this event will be running Spa and Le Mans classics year about? That would be brilliant - a classic trip every year in early summer!

Fantastic weekend and really very quiet, although its the first one that they've put on. The track laps were exactly the same as the usual Classic Le Man "parade laps", with most a lot of cars going for it and enjoying themselves.
