Squealing Hayes Brakes

I have a set of Hayes Stroker Trail brakes, V7 disc on the front, V6 on the rear. The brakes squeal when operated, especially the front, they are worse in the winter/cold but still annoying now it's warmer. Think they have the standard fit Metallic Sintered pads. They stop ok.

Any one running these with different pads? Do you have the same noise issues?

I have them, had them for nearly 12 months. You learn to ignore them.

I emailed Hayes directly, they sent me some sintered pads, don't really make a difference.

Brilliant brakes just ignore the stupid noises

Try some organic pads, better at this time of year anyway!
