Back on the Dole again after another company goes to the wall (2nd in 2 years for me)
And having to consider going self employed, but to generate the start up money the Wedge may have to go.........

Big question is.....what on earth is the value???????
As some of you know it's a bit of a hybrid;
1980 280 DHC
Fitted TVR 3.5L stage 2 tuned
Eaton M90 supercharger (intercooled)
Emerald ECU with fully mapped ignition and fueling
Vented, grooved discs and alloy 4pot calipers
Zex nitrous set up
OZ Racing alloys with Toyo 888's and a spare set of lattice wheels with toyo T1R's
Lots of other bits and bobs......far too many to list

Sad to have to consider selling but.....how should I value it???????

WHAT!! Dont sell it mate..yourll never live it down..The trade that you are in is becoming more and more of a seasonal thing..Remember there was an influx of heating enginners a while ago..Everyone needs one in the winter as thats when everything starts going pears..Everyone is feeling the pinch..maybe consider seasonal trade..Heating in the winter..Air conditioning in the summer..I used to work for an antique fireplace shop and in the summer it was dead..If only they had took my advice to stock air cons and fans in the summer..Cheers..Ziga

Tony things are just as quiet it seems down here too,don't be too proud to diversify ya talents coz what ever you do it'll pay a wage,I've been self employed for the last 21 years and its not a big deal honest.In all honesty if you sold ya car for maybe 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 grand how long would that really last you,a couple of months perhaps and that would be it car gone after all your efforts for someone else to enjoy. Knock on doors if you have too mate.

Cheddar looks like im going to be out of a job come July but like me you should never think of selling that motor FFS. You will never get the £'s back for the passion hours, and quality workmanship you have put into that car. Its part of the family now, Kim said to me after i said that the wedge might have to go if the redundancies happen and we need the money for our wedding next year, Her words were and i quote "You sell MOIKE and there will be no wedding Fatty" God i love her!

P.S Moike is Kims pet name for the wedge!
