Decent second half display after an abysmal first half, was nice to see that Sherwood seemed to show some genuine excitement when we scored

Christ that was an abysmal match! Both teams were poor. Typical of our manager to keep Schwarzer in goal and wes starting again. Hamer should of started, and to make only 1 change in the second half showed a lack of care by pearson.
Both have been terrible the past 3-4 games! Either way i hope this serves as a kick up the arse to the Leicester team and get some points on the board!!!

Well done for the win yesterday Villa. Just don't draw bradford later laugh

The 2-legged loss to Bradford in the League Cup still annoys me now. Utterly infuriating.

WEM-BER-LEEEEEEE!!

Didn't think I'd be saying that this season....

The club should ban all of those idiotic ****ers who invaded the pitch before the whistle.

Really frustrating to see on what was a great win. Sherwood's face summed it up, he of all people would usually have been jumping around celebrating. I do think the steward and police presence was underestimated though, a local derby and winner goes to Wembley should be given extra care. No excuses for the invaders though, I think it's damn scary for the players getting hounded like that even though it's positive.

5.30 pm kick-off, they've been in the pub since 12, lunatic scheduling again to satisfy the TV needs. This, on a Saturday should have been Noon kick-off furious

Very pleased with the two wins, mind biggrin

The baggies lad's red? Never a sending off in a month of Sundays. Play acting of the worst sort from your player.

What was Tony Pulis moaning about the stewarding for? 40K fans against the stewards? OK not all are invading but it doesn't take a great percentage to overwhelm them.

Sour grapes TP.

Both second yellows should never have been given.

In response to the pitch invasion, the football authorities have an opportunity to right a huge wrong.
I lived in the West Midlands for 30 years. Some people are still serving a life sentence there.
Such hardship is unconscionable. The ordeal is exacerbated by Birmingham City and Aston Villa.

Aston Villa is a club without merit or purpose and should be closed.
Villa Park could be turned into a kebab shop, or a mosque.
Or both.

Understandable him being bitter. After the run they've been on they'll be a bit shocked at being done twice in a week. The stewarding could have been better but they have little or no chance at managing that volume of fans.

The media blow hot and cold as well - one day it's 'scenes of joy' and another day (perhaps a less trendy club) and its 'discrgaceful'

As for away fans sat in the upper north stand so they can throw chairs at and spit on the Villa fans below, I do think that's daft planning at Villa Park for 2 heated local derbys in 5 days.
