Jeremy Clarkson celebrates the 50th birthday of the Jaguar E-type by driving a modern-day interpretation of this sports classic, and throwing a typically low-key party involving live music, classic fighter planes and the Royal Marines. Richard Hammond is in South Africa, where he tests a bigger, more rugged alternative to the Hummer, and James May enlists the help of Olympic athlete Amy Williams to try out the latest Mini rally car. Plus, the Stig takes the BMW 1-series M around the test track and another celebrity gets behind the wheel of the Reasonably Priced Car

Looking forward to it, however im not looking forward to the inevitable 'oooh top gear is crap now, its too far up its own arse, jeremy is crap, richards hair is all wrong bla bla bla.

There is a cheap car challenge this series!

The Nissan Pixo is the cheapest new car on sale at £6,995 and they have to buy something more interesting for the same price or less.

They buy a 5-series (possibly an e39 M5), a V12 S-class and a Bentley!

Also Amy Williams is back and wearing her... erm... work clothes

Any truth in the rumour I've heard of May leaving? Apparently was discussed on Chris Evans' show this week.

If he did then I doubt the other two would carry on with Top Gear. I don't think it would work with one of the 3 missing.

It may return in a few years but with a different format and maybe still featuring JC but totally different to the show of the moment.
