Whats the best way to remove a stuck pedal? Tried hammer, wd40 etc, but stuck fast.

Crank arm off and in a vice, go at the pedal with appropriate sized spanner. Wd40 might help. Afraid I don't have any better suggestions than that

^^^ the pedals have opposite threads - the RH has conventional anti-clockwise to loosen but the LH is clockwise!

Yep, turning the right way, got one of the B@$tards off, will take the other crank to work and try the vice. Thanks all for the advice

Is there a hex on the spindle end to use allen key on?, may be able to get more leverage there..

I did it by wedging the other end of the spanner on top of a block, and then getting on my bike and jumping on the pedal. Was helped by a railing to balance. Perfect.
